1. Selection method:

(1) Select qualified products with "3C" certification.

(2) Class ii products should be selected for general occasions. This kind of equipment has double insulation and is relatively safe to use.

(3) Class ⅱ or Class ⅲ products should be selected for work in damp places or places with good electrical conductivity such as metal frames.

(4) In metal containers, pipes, boilers and other narrow places to work, should choose class iii products.

(5) If it is necessary to use class I products, other necessary safety measures shall be taken according to safety requirements, such as installation of leakage protector, safety isolation transformer, etc.

2. Matters needing attention when purchasing:

(1) use: according to the need to distinguish between family or professional use, because most power tools are designed for professional personnel, in the purchase should distinguish between professional and general family tools. Usually, professional and ordinary family tools differ in power. Professional tools have larger power, while ordinary household input power does not need to be very large.

(2) Appearance: the outer packaging pattern is clear without damage, the plastic box is firm, and the buckle is firm and durable. The appearance of the tool is uniform in color, the surface of the plastic parts has no obvious shadow wire, dent, scratch or knock, the assembly dislocation between the shell parts is less than or equal to 0.5mm, the coating of the aluminum casting is smooth without defect, and the surface of the whole machine is free from oil pollution. When held by hand, the handle of the switch is smooth, and the length of the cable is generally not less than 2 meters.

(3) Nameplate parameters: Qualified products with "3C" certification should be selected. Nameplate parameters of power tools should be consistent with those on CCC certificate. Detailed address and contact information of the manufacturer and the factory should be on the tool manual. The product traceability batch number shall be on the nameplate or certificate of conformity.

(4) convenience: small volume, high integration of power tools in the use of convenience will undoubtedly be higher than large volume, single function of the product. It is recommended that you make a horizontal comparison of related products when buying household power tools, and try to choose power tools with rich functions, compact size, simple structure and easy storage.

(5) Safety: hold the tool by hand, turn on the power, operate the switch frequently to make the tool start frequently, and observe whether the on-off function of the tool switch is reliable. At the same time observe the scene of the TV, fluorescent lamp is abnormal phenomenon. To verify that the tool is equipped with a valid radio interference suppressor.

(6) Vibration and spark: the tool should be powered on for one minute, and the hand should be held during the operation. The hand should not feel any abnormal vibration obviously. Observe the commutation spark, and the commutation spark should not exceed level 3/2.

(7) Noise: most household power tools will produce a certain amount of noise when used, but the use of noise also has high and low points. It is recommended (especially for families with children and the elderly) to try out the electric tools to see if the noise level is within the acceptable range.
